Salisbury Glass Centre Ltd is a family run company that has over 68 years of uninterrupted and unblemished trading history. The business was founded by Douglas Gower in 1952 and he ran the company until it was taken over by his eldest son Paul.

Paul ran the company along with his brothers and sister Steve, Mark and Jill for over 25 years until retiring in 2006, when younger brother Mark became the Managing Director.

We carry out projects of all sizes all over the country from a simple piece of replacement broken glass to multi million pound commercial buildings.

As you would expect from a company with a strong family history, Salisbury Glass Centre has several members of the family directly involved in different departments in the business. We are also proud to have many members of staff that have been with us for over 25 years and employ around 160 people from the local area.

We pride ourselves on a traditional approach to business and value all of our customers, no matter how large or small the job is. We offer a "no pressure, no gimmick" service to everyone.

Employees

We directly employ all of our staff and we have a strong policy of training & continual improvement, our installers are all trained to NVQ level 2. We also actively employ local school leavers on a traditional in-house apprenticeship basis.

We offer a wide range of products in UPVC, aluminium and timber and they can all be seen in our showroom or on the pages of this web site.

Salesmen

All our salesmen are ex-installers or fabricators so they know exactly what is required to carry out any installation. They will advise you on the best products that will give you value for money. You can be assured that there will never be any hard selling or unnecessary add-ons.
